One year down,
So many more to go.
The fireworks show celebration
Of what I don't quite know.
The end?
The beginning?
The party itself?
It's exciting
One more year of a life ahead
But the pressures on.
Follow your resolutions,
Don't mess up,
Find yourself once again,
Be a new person,
Improve your old self,
Be better than last year,
Don't let it repeat,
Grow up,
Live up to everyone's expectations.
For me,
The New Years a big bundle of confusion
I'm not quite sure how to take it
Or how to make it work.
